Ever since I converted to Christianity in late January, I've slowly been learning little bits about different denominations alongside studying scripture. I know the difference between Catholics and Protestants, and about the schism between Catholicism and Orthodoxy, but past surface level knowledge? Minimal.
As I've gotten more into my theology (I'm currently a Protestant) I've gotten curious about what other denominations think about stuff. Why do Catholics place such a big value in works? Why does Orthodoxy value symbolism to the extent that they do?
I feel confident enough in my understanding of scripture that I can comfortable research these other denominations and interpretations and know what people are talking about.
Like I said, I've done minimal research so far but I'm excited to get more into it.
