In learning how to weld, I found out my friend Dan (the guy I do work for) has a welding table and gear, as well as a stick and MIG machine. It's all his, but neither of us knew how to use it and none of it is set up.

The first thing I did was pull apart the stinger on a different broken tombstone, because the newer one we wanted to use didn't have one.
After that, I set up the rest of the MIG machine. I expected it to be a lot more complicated than it was.

I only had enough time to test it once before I had to leave, but to say I was overjoyed and immensely relieved when it struck an arc would be an understatement.
