Every year my church hosts a Live Nativity event. In our event, there's a part that simulates a period accurate(ish) marketplace that guests can roam around in. Within that marketplace, we have a few actors, myself included, acting as roman guards. One of the things the guards do a few times every night is walk up to and "arrest" a beggar that sits in a corner asking for handouts of fake money we give people. It's pretty fun being a guard, getting to side eye your guard buddies from across the square to coordinate arrests or shout at the beggar to be quiet. A couple little kids also thought I looked cool enough to ask their mom to take a picture with me.
