In 2002, my dad bought a Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Since then, it's had nearly zero maintenance past basic check-ups and oil changes. After nearly 25 years of use, it's starting to fall apart. I'm now taking it upon myself to learn how to work on cars, so I can maintain the truck myself at a much lower cost. Maybe I'll even upgrade it in the future.
