I've been looking to intern for a company called Kratos Defense for about a week. I was going to cold email them, but two days ago I found out they were going to have a booth at a local job fair.
I spent the whole day before the fair pulling strings to make a crude "resume". This ended up being 5 letters of recommendation for people I've worked for and with. Absolute credit to them for making awesome letters for me a couple hours after asking.
My Highschool ES Monica, my BJJ coach Shawn, Dan who hires me at his ranch, Josh the college professor and CEO I worked with, and Danielle, a general partner of 1517, all delivered way above my request for a simple 1-2 sentence letter. I'm so thankful to have these people in my life.
